Purchased and sampled in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, this green half liter bottle carries only a small oval red, black and silver label with just the numbers. My best guess is that 130 is the age of the brewery. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 8/22/06, I opened it on 4/8/06.
Pours a clear darkish gold under a one finger white head that fades quickly to absolutely nothing. There is almost no nose at all - just a bit of CO2 and a hint of tonic. The mouth is quite light and well-carbonated. The taste opens with sweetish grape flavor, chased by mild metallic bitter. The grape lingers longest, but nothing lasts particularly well. Pretty unexciting overall.
