Purchased and sampled in the beers home town, the standard brown ½ liter bottle features a yellow and gold label with a coat of arms above the name. There is no ingredient information. Best before 5/12/06, I opened it on 4/6/06.
Pours pale clear straw under a two finger white head with nice contour and decent retention, leaving a bit (should have been more) of lace. The nose is slightly metallic, with a bit of malt. The mouth is light and fairly prickly. The taste generates a pretty harsh impression raw grain, hard metallic bitter. Pretty disappointing actually.
