Copenhagen 26/9 2018. 50 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård Webshop. Simple black label with the name of the beer and some basic information. Three Gold Medals from Helsinki Beer Festival.
Pours opaque dark brown with fairly big light beige head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is strong, sweet and a little salty and metallic. Dark bitter chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, coffee, bacon and a light odor of alcohol.
Soft carbonation. Medium thick, soft and creamy, lightly sticky texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet boozy and with a bitter coffee twist.
Solid sweet and salty Baltic Porter with a decent kick.
