Had at Pikkulintu, Bartender discussed the #1-#3, said they are base beer (“Dessert Storm”?) aged in bourbon barrels (Wild Turkey?). The #1 is 2 months aged, #2 6 months, and #3 10 months.
Large bubbly dark tan head with a jet black pour. Nose is lightly wood, a hint of whiskey, notes of anise, earthy and rooty with a light berry sweetness. Taste is similar, everything is slightly muted with a roast vanilla quality on the earthy sweetness. Body is creamy with a soft carbonation and very smooth. A less expressive version of #2.
