Dirty gold color (nearly dirty copper) and clear. Modest head. Rim bubbles after settling. A near blanket for the lacing.
The smell is unusual in that it seems to be freezer burned. There’s almost a plasticky odor. Missing is any notable dark malt or hop. I don’t even pickup any yeast.
The taste is a huge improvement. It starts with caramel malt, giving it a sweet overtone. It’s also boozy—similar to brandy in sweetness and warmth. There’s no hop bitterness giving this beer a Doppelbock feel and flavor.

A: Color is clear copper while the warm off-white head is quite compact and creamy. Rich lacings.
S: Yeast and spiecs. Sour fruits, cherries but also cherry kernels. Rich malt. Nettles and a slight smell of hay.
T: Rich sweetness from the slightly roasted dark malt. Dark dried fruits, but not all sweet since there also is a kernel bitterness. Fruity; cherries and red oranges.
M: Aftertaste lingers for some time, all sweetness. Body is on the fuller side, while carbonation is held back.
O: Not bad at all. A bit of everything without anything fantastic. Maybe this would evolve nicely in my celler, to bad we'll never know, since this is the only bottle I bought.
