Thanks Chico for sharing as usual. Full notes from a few nights back.
A- Hazy somewhat murky amber body with orange hints at the edges. A frothy cap up to a finger falls to a tiny ring with little retention. Lacing is rare spots.
S- Good and funky aromas with plenty of lactic acid sourness and fruit tones. A general stone fruit feel obviously from the plums but apricot and lemon also come to mind. Musty horsey basement feeling but the plums truly shine.
T- Plums like whoa in the forefront complimenting the funky yeast and the lactic acid medium-low sourness. A funky musty old grape or green apple feel but not in an off flavor way. The oak barrel provides some vinous feel and I was surprised to learn it wasnt a wine barrel. No raw woodiness though as the barrel integrates well.
MF- Light and dry overall mouthfeel with a slight oily slickness throughout. Carbonation on the low end for a sour but it isnt bothersome or attributing to a thin feel. A tiny bit fizzy and ends rather sour as time passes.
A great surprise from Tazmania. Intense plum married to a medium lactic sourness and a bit of musty funk.

Shared 750ml bottle, brief phone notes from a few nights ago. IIRC this had a late 2015 bottling date and was in the area of 6.5% ABV.
Hazy light reddish color with an off-white/pinkish head. Nice color and pretty decent head retention. Pretty nice scent but the taste stepped it up a notch. Surprisingly potent plum flavor coming through, with notes of red grape, apple skin, lemon, wine. A really nice unique sour dark fruit plethora with a winy wet oak vibe with a substantial-but-tame funk presence. Smooth and refreshing, good tart kick with a load of good flavors to be had, easy-going for the ABV as well.
Really dug this, great to see such solid plum flavors coming through in a wild ale with fruity/oaky complexities to boot. Certainly a huge step up from their other selections I've tried.
