A few blocks off of Nevsky, Mollie's is true to fare of any decent Irish pub. Traditional heavy oak bar and tables fill the sub-terranian establishment while all the comforts of Ireland adorn the walls and bar back. Two entrances on opposite corners and down a half flight of stairs from street level lead into the main room where heavy tables and bar areas are sectioned off to create a comfortable and intimate feel. A friendly wait staff pours the standards and chat it up in their authentic accents. Nothing too remarkable as far as pubs go, but a nice stop in for anyone who needs a good fill of Irish hospitality.

On Monday 13.05.2002 after a concert of "A Tribute To Riverdance" Irish show in St.Peter' the decision "where to go to drink?" came to my head automatically.
Just a few minutes walk from Nevsky ave (the main arteria of the city) you may reach the bar. Mollie's was founded in 1994.
Green and red brick walls, dark brown furniture, typical Irish style, 22 tables per 4-6 pax + a very long bar with chairs, very polite barmen and waitresses. There is no non-smoking areal, but air-condition (ventilation) is exelent, no cigarettes smoke at all. Several TVs show Euro-sort channel constantly.
Big "minus" = very loud misic (this is mostly blues, rock'n'roll and Irish drinking songs).
Tuesday-Friday - Live bands play.
What about beer? Selection is perfect.
Draughts/tap beers are:
- Guinness Draught;
- Harp Lager;
- Murphy's Irish Stout and Iris Red;
- Heineken;
- Grolsch;
- Lapin Kulta;
- Foster's;
- Gosser;
- Budweiser Budvar;
- Lowenbrau;
- Franziskaner Weissbier;
- De Konnick Red;
- Hoergaarden White;
- Belle Vue Kriek;
From Russian beers:
- Baltika # 7 Export;
- Baltika # 8 Hefeweizen;
- Sokol Original.
+ there is Strongbow Cider.
Prices are from 1,6 till 6,0 USD per 560 ml. There is also a possibility to order "One Yard of Guinness" (8 pints) for 43 USD or "From Dust Till Dawn" (all beer per pint) for 93 USD.
