CAMRA Real Ale Certified. Brought back from the UK
A_Pours a slightly cloudy golden amber with a one finger off white head. This settles down for a nice nap as a wisp of a cap.
S_Very mild, light raw grain is the only thing I am picking up.
T_A bit more taste than the smell would indicate. A very lightly sweet grainy malt presence is the strongest element here, apearing from start to finish. There is a fruity element here, evoking ripe pears. The aftertaste is bitter with grassy hops showing their presence.
M_Slightly thick with a low level carbonation make this really work. Akin to cask beer, this feels like a real ale.
D_This is quite the session beer. While being mild overall there is depth. For a small beer, the thick mouthfeel is welcome. Really the only fault here is the utter lack of aroma.
