Poured on tap at the brewpub in a shaker pint, the beer is a crystal clear, caramel coloring with a thin, filmy, clingy, white head. Aromas of piney and grassy hops, with a solid rich blend of cream and caramel. Flavors are heavily roasted, with a rich cream and toffee blend tangy character. Solid hops bitterness, grassy and pine, with subtle citrus highlights. Smooth, slightly dry body, with a cloying, richly sweet finish. Good beer.
