The brewery I had this at didnt have information on the ABV. I pulled the 6.25 from the Internet.
A: thick three finger head on a jet black body. Nice retention. Decent lacing.
S: smokey and honey with a roasted malt background.
T: chocolate, honey, roasted malt and a touch of dark fruit.
M: moderate to high carbonation and medium body. Smooth.
Overall: not too bad. I am usually not a fan of porters or Sea Dog but the honey adds a nice touch although many of the traditional porter characteristics are absent.
