Comes in a standard brown half liter bottle with a fairly slick silver and blue label featuring a sketch of a wind blown eagle. Rice is an ingredient. No freshness information.
Poured a decent deeper than straw gold color under a fizzy white heat that didn't stick around too long. Even the collar disappeared pretty quickly. The nose was pretty strong in the pour, but disappeared quickly - malt with a touch of tinniness. The mouth is prickly, and just slightly heavy. The taste starts out in the malty grain area, then moves to a light and metallic hoppiness pretty common among Russian beers. The aftertaste features this metallic bitterness. I've had much worse Russian beers, but I won't be looking to have this one again either.
(Note: This is my first Russian beer after having enjoyed HopDevil and Storm King Stout. Probably not a fair comparison. Them's the breaks!)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
