Comes in a tall brown half liter bottle with a long thin neck and a silver and blue label featuring three images of Munich's Bavaria statue, the Bavarian flag and the name of the brewery in Russian and German. Sugar is an ingredient. Best before 4/28/05, I opened it on 3/6/05.

Pours a clear, slightly dark gold under a very short-lived one finger white head that leaves no traces very quickly. Nice bready malt nose, with a touch of spicey hops. The mouth is fairly heavy and well carbonated, almost thick. The taste is heavy on the malt, smooth and slightly sweet, all barley. This is chased by a not unsubstantial hops chaser, not really dry but slightly bitter. The alcohol content also plays a role, adding a spicey edge. Good hoppy bite in the aftertaste. Very nice product.
