Scored this in a Moscow grocery store, it comes in a tall brown half liter bottle with a long thin neck and a blue and white label featuring the Bavarian flag and three images of Munich's Bavaria statue. Sugar is an ingredient. Best before 3/28/05, I popped it in honor of International Women's Day, 3/8/05.

Pours clear gold under a two finger creamy white head that settles fairly quickly to thick film then lasts a good while but cannot muster any lace. The nose is mild and malty. The mouth is lightly carbonated and fairly light in consistency. There is a hint of fruity sweetness amongst the bready malt to start. Very smooth impression here. A bit of slightly metallic hops comes out in the finish, leaving a hint of dry bitter in the aftertaste. A fairly plain, but solid brew.
