On tap on the sidewalk at the brewery. Drinkable in the heat with a burrito bowl. Not like a full-on Hefeweizen.

Had on tap at the brewery. Poured very near clear with a small, thin head. Slight smell of hops, no banana esters noted. Faint hoppy taste. Mouth feel thin, too watery for my tastes but very drinkable.

Picked up this bomber at the brewpub
Pours semi-hazed gold/apricot with 2 fingers of cream colored head. Some lacing & minimal head retention
S: Bready with apple slices
T: Apple slices, a touch of lemon & some grainyness up front, also a bit of honey. Not really getting any classic hefe clove, pepper or bubblegum. As this warms, you get more of the same, plus some dryness, plus some pear. Finishes dryish with much pear & a touch of lemony hops crispness
MF: Spritzy with nice crispness & medium body
Drinks very easy, not a classic hefe, but really quenches the thirst!

A: Poured a thin not very sticky head and had a cloudy golden yellow appearance that looked rich in yeast and malts.
S: Sweet grass and wheat smells typical of hefe style with a very light yeast note underneath.
T: Pungent yeast and strong maltiness but lacks much follow through and has little to no aftertaste.
M/D: Light and very fluid for a hefe making it easy to swallow but not desirable in the drinkability category.

Presentation: 22 oz bomber, clear label. Bottling date is hand marked.
Appearance: Light golden color, just a bit of haze - but this was the first pour from the bottle.
Smell: Light yeast notes, mainly wheat.
Taste: Similar to the smell - the wheat flavors dominate here, with just a hint of yeast.
Overall impression: Not bad - but this is more of a wheat than a hefe - not as much yeast characteristic as I would expect from the hefe style. I was happy to see this offered at Wolf Creek Ski Area, though.
