i love the art on this label, but i also really like the beer inside. its got a really creamy peppery nose, jalapeno and serrano, tons of heat to the smell, and a very very light pale malt base. the flavor shocks me though, all that peppery heat turns to vegetal pepper flavor deliciously, almost totally devoid of heat, not even a warmth in the throat, neutral in that way, impressive! there is a creaminess to this too that i just love, like a pepper dip or something, it doesnt give it body, but it gives it a cool feeling that i am not used to in the style. the lager yeast helps it finish quick, carbonation gives it a ton of life, and the freshness of the peppers is whats memorable here. i usually hate chili beer because it sits weird in the belly and the heat is out of place, so i really like what theyve done with this one. a great introduction to a brewery i didnt even know existed before i had this brew.

This is a lager infused with chilies. On tap at Summit beer festival

Looks like a lager. Pale golden, some density in the foam. Clear and clean looking.

Aroma is green chili and smoked peppers over a light caramel/biscuit malt bed. A hint of hot spice, but nothing powerful.

The flavors are light and crisp. Smoke and green chilies are prominent but not overbearing. As it warmed the flavors tend to crawl around; served cold it's darn good. I can go with this with a burger, but more than a pint is too much for me. Just my taste
