Screw-cap growler filled at the brewpub.
Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1/2" bright white head over the very cloudy tarnished gold brew. Head recedes at a moderate pace, with lots of sticky white lace. Aroma is bananany clove. Taste is slightly tart upfront, rounds off quickly with the cloves, and the banana comes on strong at the close. Wow. Mouthfeel is incredibly smooth, and drinkability is excellent. My comments on how smooth the Gardner brews are is getting to be a broken record, but it's always worth note in my mind. Great stuff.
