Marked as an east coast IPA, this beer has all the makings of a NE IPA but without the cloudy appearance. Plenty of green bittering hop nose which carries over to the lip smacking taste. This tastes like wet leafy hops. On the edge of extreme.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a moderately hazed orange-copper color with a tall head of puffy foam. The head fades fast leaving a decent level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a grapefruit and pine smell mixed with notes of bready malt and some cracker malt. Along with these smells comes notes of oatmeal and a little bit of harvest fruit of apple and pear.
Taste – The taste begins with a slightly more crisp cracker malt paired with some bready malt and a decent showing of grapefruit and pine hop. As the taste advances the pine gets more intense, all while a bit of sweetness that was upfront, consisting of a little bit of caramel, apple, and pear, fad over time, and in the end leave one with a rather crisp and moderately hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is light and crisp with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A rather nice IPA overall, with more old school character. More west coast in style then the east coast indication on the can, hey, but I’ll take it.
