Presentation: 12oz. green bottle.

Appearance: Black amber. The head had little cascading action. It went from foamy to chunky to a sticky froth within minutes.

Smell: Sweet, dark, chocolate, coffee aroma.

Taste: Very thin, earthy and dry. Blah all over.

Notes: OK, where's the stout? It appears that another UK brewery/US distributor have teamed for another marketing scheme. Add a little Black Malt in the boil for colouring and hell ... anything will 'look' & 'smell' like a stout. This is more like a watery black bitter, and a rip-off of a stout. Your mind expects a stout, and it is disappointed. (Recipe by Patrick Casey)
