Typical Kentish Ale-look with the golden/red-brown color. It’s quite easy to drink even though there is a lot of bitterness in it. Slight taste of sweetness in the flavor.

Appearance: Nice copper colour, but pours next to no head.
Aroma: Rich and malty aroma, with caramel and some fruity undertones (apricots?).
Taste: Mild, but flavourful. Dominated by malt, but there's some bitterness there too. Just a tiny bit of honey/caramel sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, with low to moderate carbonation.
Overall: I would actually like to give this a higher rating, as it's not half bad. The robust malty taste is excellent for a beer of this strength, even though other characteristics are a bit underwhelming. Still, it's a superb session beer and fine representative of a mild English bitter.

The beer is clear copper amber, a slightly orange hued off-white head, rather high, settles slowly, leaves good lacing.
The smell is sweet toffee, brown bread, sour fruit notes, green apple peel, some fresh mowed lawn.
Upfront malt sweetness, molasses, then some riper fruits, pears, then a rather sharp chemical bitterness.
Medium carbonation, small bubbles, rather thin and watery, lack of body, a dry twinge at the end that fades away rather slowly.
This beer is better in it's stronger version, at this ABV it becomes a bit sharp and watery.

Custom made for the Swedish market (beers under 3.5% are sold in supermarkets).
The colour is deep amber with a tint of red; the finger thick off white head inks slowly to a thick lid, leaving almost none lacing.
The mild smell is medium bitter with a lightly roasted nutty flavour. There is a mild hint of dough and caramel, too.
The taste is fruity with lots of apricots, plums, raspberries and red apples. I found some notes of toffee, minerals (chalk?) and a roasted touch. The body is a little weak though. The aftertaste is a little salty with gentle bitter flavours and some sweetness.
The carbonation is medium strong; smell bubbles. The liquid is a little thin, but still OK.
Highly drinkable, as a bitter is supposed to be. Very English. One of the best tax category II (2.8-3.5%) beers around.
