Nice and tart, some metallic hints but underlying brew is tasty with the sour notes dominating on the finish. A solid recommendation to any fan of the style.

Benelux "Berlinoise"
on tap @ the brewpub, 4 OCT 2014
Aroma: Lemon, almost like a lemon drop. "Sourness". Cereal.
Flavor: follows the aroma. Very clean. Superb balance. Rounded, unlike some Berliners that are sharply tart and funky. Smooth.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body, median carbonation - not too crisp.
Overall: Really well done for a style that can easily go astray.

VT Brewfest
A-Poured a milky yellow.
S-Standard Berliner Weisse aroma with a tease of sourness to come. Wheaty, tart and rustic but still mellow.
T-Begins with a tartness that doesn't dominate but comes close. The pucker doesn't last for long. It dies off and the wheat comes out more.
M-Light, flourishing. Crisp.
O-Another good VT Fest Berliner.
