Notes: Clear, deep copper body beneath a creamy off-white head. Good retention and lacing. Smells of Vienna malt. There's a touch of dark caramel and an underlying berry-like fruitiness. Clean aroma. Clean flavor. The malt and hops are in perfect balance with the spicy and floral character adding just enough play to the graininess to give it some overall complexity. The bitterness holds the middle ground, allowing a touch of sweetish malt upfront, and then a dry but not "bitter" finish. One of the best Märzen style beers I've had brewed outside of Germany. Solid in its production, "character", and balance. Drinkable "en masse".
