Benelux succube dunklerbock, had on tap at the Brewpub in Montreal.
Nice creamy 1/2 finger head fades at a med pace, nice thick lacing, clear cranberry mahogany red color.
Nose candy sweet malts, caramel, light biscuit, mild fruity lager note, very faint sulfur, little nutty toffee, faint dark fruits, little light overall.
Taste brings sweet malts, toasty brown and grainy malts, darker biscuit wheat, with little creamy feel and mild dark fruits. Faint caramel and toffee, nutty, little fruity lager note, faint grassy hops. Finish dries a bit as the bitterness kicks up a bit, little sweet caramel toffee lingering.
Mouth is med bod, mild creamy feel, decent carb.
Overall decent bit nothing special, but too light on most components but fairly enjoyable. But just too light.
