Pours a hazy glowing Orange with a tight finger's worth of beige meringue that fades to a film, speckled web lacing. Sweet, orangey aromas with some funky lime green pungency underneath. The smell opens a up a little as it warms but not tons, becomes a touch more dank/earthy. The flavor is initially citrus sweetness and that is followed by an onslaught of dusty, powdery bitterness between citrus oil and earthy pine and sappy sticky at the end from the hops but mainly from the sugar sweet hearty malt body. Verges on but never crosses over into extreme pine sap bitterness, not medicinal either. She drinks dry as a bone, with a resinous finish, medium body/carbonation; a little sticky all-in-all, and the intense hoppiness kind of numbs your mouth after a while. This was a very enjoyable beer. Not my favorite of their random DIPAs, but proof that they are all very good. Would have again.

This is a really nice DIPA and probably the best IPA/DIPA that I had on my recent trip to Montreal. A nice bitterness with a big citrus profile. The malt backbone is a little sweeter than I prefer, but this is otherwise a very nice beer.

The color is a hazy golden light orange.
The aroma was surprising. Very much a VT style DIPA. Mango, passionfruit pineapple tangerine yellow grapefruit, a touch of alcohol. White Bready malt. Dank.
The flavor is juicy tropical, passionfruit, mango. Tangerine, tangelo, bready malt, dry. A clean DIPA.
A complete surprise to find in Montreal.
