very slightly hazy orange tinged light amber. Decent white head that recedes fairly quickly but leaves a sticky lacing. Nose wafts citrus, mostly tangerines and grapefruit with some lemon rind and some ethanol. Taste is a bit sweet up front, but with a thorough lemon bitter finish. Some booze present in the finish. Medium bodied, amply carbed.

This is a really good, big, fruity IPA brewed to celebrate the anniversary of this fine brewpub (I wasn't aware they had been around since 1990, but there you go). It is a bright orange, filled with haze and has a thin, pristine white cap of foam that never totally disappears and leaves behind huge curtains of lacing with each sip. The aroma is the first thing you notice. I could smell it when the girl brought it to my table. Candied mandarin oranges and grapefruit pith. The flavor follows suit with a huge initial wave of sweetness followed by a bracing bitterness and the a dryly bitter resiny finish. She is pretty easy to drink and hard not to love. Pretty much a marriage of citrus with well-hidden ABV. It is simultaneously as bitter and as sweet as something citrusy can be. Great beer!
