Ordered this on June 27, 2011, at Benelux under the name "Flimzie". Whiteboard describes this as a Blonde Abbey at 6.6%.
A: Nice peachy-orange colour with a ring of ivory white foam around the top. Some lacing down the glass.
S: Not a real pronounced smell, but more of a combination of several faint aromas. Picking up quite a bit of orange peel, cloves and belgian spices, and some sourness.
T: Orange tangyness upfront with a nice almost-bready malt backbone and some floral notes. Picking up the belgian clove spice, and a bit of saltiness. Tastes quite similar to the smell. A refreshing taste with the citrus that finishes pleasantly dry.
M: Thin, non-oily mouthfeel and about average carbonation. On par for the style I'd say.
D: Quite drinkable and refreshing for an Abbey. The flavour complexity is not up there with other Blonde Abbeys but still very pleasant and worth ordering.
