Draft: Poured a slight hazy bright yellowish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of floral and dry European hops is dominating and quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix between a sweet malt base with limited caramel malt presence (that you would usually find in an IPA) and loads of floral hops with a lightly bitter and astringent finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well done the huge hops presence was very refreshing.

On tap at Mondial de la Biere. Another gold medal winner from Benelux.
Pours a murky orange, with a thick creamy head that put down a large amount of lace. Good retention as it slowly dies to a heavy film. The aroma combines grapefruit, spicy yeast and a dose of candy sugar. Reminds me a little of hop candy and smells pretty damn good. Flavour follows, though never delivers the bitterness levels of an American IPA, or even a fellow Belgian IPA like Hopsinjoor. Big tropical fruits and citrus, with pineapple and mango coming out. Sweet spicy yeast in the finish. Slightly fuller mouthfeel adds to the impression that this is a dessert beer.
An interesting slightly sweet take on the style. I'm impressed with Benelux so far and look forward to visiting their brewpub next time I'm in Montreal.

On-tap at Mondiale 2010 Day One. Yesty arinas, Very cloudy grapefruit colour with some white head and white lace. A tad above-average mouthfeel. Drinkable but not very drinkable. Carbonation a little assertive. A little astringent in the finish, still good craftmanship.

Pours a murky brown orange with two fingers of frothy white head. The head subsides slowly with good lacing.
Tasty hoppes and sweet malts fill my nostrils with, citrus, and pear for an IPA it smells well balanced
Follows the nose this beer is hoppy but not overdone it has enough malt character for me to enjoy it this beer is crisp and refreshing
Crisp and light bodied
Highly drinkable as long as you can handle the hoppes
