Contract brewed for the "beer cafe" of the same name in Moscow, this lovely little pilsner comes out a clear deep gold under a two finger dull white head that settles fairly quickly to thick film, then lasts quite a while leaving excellent lacing. The nose is very pleasant, full of flowery hops. The mouth is quite prickly and light. The taste is all smooth flowery hops with a good strong bitter bite right from the start. There's little balance here, as malt is difficult to detect, leaving the pilsner hoppiness to stand on its own. The bitterness lingers well into the aftertaste. This is a good session beer, particularly for the price - about US$2.00 for a half liter.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
