I was in Sweden for work and staying at the hotel above this bar. The first night in town I went there for food and found out that they had 30 beers on tap plus a large selection of bottled beer, so I knew I would be back there other nights as well for a night cap. The food was typical pub grub with a Swedish twist, I had venison sausage & mashed potatoes. I didn't get to try all the beers in the short time I was staying at the hotel, but I did sample few that I never had before. The beer prices were higher here than I am used to in the USA, 60+ SEK (around $10US at the time), but I was told that the prices were typical for Sweden.
The wait staff all spoke good English and were helpful explaining the types of beer. The only down side was you had to go to the bar to order everything, and pay then; so if you wanted several beers during the time there you had to order them separately and pay for each one instead of having a bill generated and paying when finished.

The atmosphere here is nice, dark wood and all the usual beer bar paraphernalia. It was moderately crowded when I was there (about 8:30 on a Saturday night), but I would imagine it gets packed sometimes.

The staff was polite and friendly, and they all spoke good english (as everyone in Scandinavia does). The beer was served at a reasonable temperature in generic (but still appropriate) stemware with the bar's logo on it.

The selection was very good for the region with quite a few American microbrews available as well as a good selection of British ales. My only complaint is that the selection of local beer was not what I was hoping for. They had one bottle from Nogne O a couple of Mikkeler's brews and a couple of Swedish micros that I had never heard of, but that was about it. I also noticed that the Scandinavian beers were several times more expensive than comparable American beers, but I guess you have to blame the Swedish government for that rather than the bar.

A nice place overall, and well worth the visit. It is a welcome respite from the monotonous euro-lagers served everywhere else in this part of Europe.
