On tap at Syndicate. Murky brown with some haze, pours an off white creamy foam leaving lace lines. Nose of dark pit fruits, spice bread, Belgian candy sugar, and some alcohol. Sweet, fruity, and warming, with only a little bitterness. Full bodied, booze and warm fruit hits the palate and feels nice. Lingering sweetness, almost syrupy. A nice sipper for the cold weather. Great.

Picked up a growler of this after work today...I really have to remember to bring my growlers in..I think I have like 4 now.
a-pours a dark red with minimal but lasting head.
s-sweet malty smell is first and foremost dark fruits I'm getting...some yeasty smells as is characteristic of alot of belgians...
t-dark fruit and malt with the yeast flavours bringing up the rear...very nice tasting.
m-thicker in keeping with the 7+abv. Good stuff.
d-gets a bit cloying as it warms up...but it never stays in my glass long enough.

Split a growler of this with my dad after Christmas dinner. Pours dark brown colour with hints of amber. Thick off-white head with streaks of lacing. Nice head retention. Smells of raisins with dark Belgian yeast. Nice sweetness, alcohol is a bit noticeable. Very true to style, nice dubbel.

Enjoyed at the brewpub. Served way too cold, this was a nice one once I waited a long time for it to get closer to room temperature. Some yeast aroma, cloudy peachy colour with some head, very lacey. Medium mouthfeel, it hits the style. A tangy fruitiness to it that satisfies.
