Zesty and bold upon the first sips, with luscious notes of apricots, peaches and oranges like you're chilling in the capital city of Fruitland.

Had on tap. With the name I had high hopes for this one, if only I had a skull of my enemy to drink the tears of my enemies out of! Anyways, looked great, smell featured pale hops and wheat with some light fruits. Taste was hops and pale grains. Little light for the style

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter. Murky dull gold color with 1.5 finger white head that leaves a cap and lacing on my glass. Aroma is fruity, berry like and flora with some citric hop aroma and light caramel malts. Flavor is hoppy with notes of citrus, berry, and hints of floral or grass. Has lighter caramel malts. A light body with some resinous oils and a dry finish. Tasty APA from Ale Asylum.

Pours a clear yellow golden color with white head. Lots of light fruits on the nose, apricots, peaches, and some mango, some bread, and some light pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with more fruitiness balanced out nicely by the malt backbone.

Amber/gold in color with very nice lacing. Aroma had sweetness with biscuit. Taste has subtle fruit juice but is overpowered by that musty flavor that is present in a lot of Ale Asylum brews.

On tap at the brewery. Clear golden. Smells fruity. Orange and stone fruit. Delicate fruit aroma. Sweet graininess to it as well. Tastes more strongly of orange than peaches this time, but it still has a nice stone fruit flavor. Biscuit malt with something like a wheat flavor that lends a bright and unintrusive sweetness to it. Low bitterness. Medium light body. Awesome.

12oz bottle, PKGD 51817A
A - frothy and foamy ivory head sticks around awhile, capping a tangerine colored ale
S - big, juicy citric hop aroma with a pleasant malt nose as well: grapefruit, orange, mango, caramel, nutty grain
T - nutty grain and caramel malt backbone provides sweetness to pair with orange and grapefruit zest and pith, mango, pine, and passion fruit
M - medium body, a bit resinous with hop oils sticking to the palate, moderately bitter finish
O - good APA. Would I buy it again? I am not sure I would considering there are so many others I prefer to this one.

12oz bottle, of the new 2017 bottling run. Served in a snifter glass. Pours a clear golden-copper body, one finger white head, good retention, bits of lacing. Smell is sweet caramel, grapefruit, resin, a touch of grass, biscuit. Fairly fruity and sweet, which is nice. Flavour is a mild-moderate bitter resin, caramel and grapefruit sweetness, slight biscuity sweetness, even maybe a touch of honey. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, appropriate carbonation, slightly sticky and resinous on the finish, moderately bitter. Nice bitterness with good body and hop flavour for a 5.9% APA. Drinks a bit bigger than you'd imagine.
