A - Hazy dirty orange-brown body, with a light off white head that fades quickly to a thin cap, minimal lacing.

S - Strong malty notes of honey, with a quieter pine and grapefruit pith aspect.

T - Follows the nose, with a punchy hop open, a caramel and honey malty middle, and a pungent bitter finish.

M - Mild carbonation, moderate feel on the tongue, dry close.

O - An Amber with a dueling hop and malt notes. Decent but not revelatory.

Got in a trade with GreenBayBA. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/copper/light reddish color with a 1 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, light toffee, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, light toffee, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted bread, light toffee, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness/resins. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.2%. Overall this is a delicious imperial red! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Really classic tasting west coast style. Feels like Centennial, Columbus, Chinook, and Amarillo. Very juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; great dark/bready malt backbone, and not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Had on tap. Man they really beasted this one up. Think amber with extreme hopping and malting. However the taste was unbalanced and hard to take it all in with so much robustness. Liked everything else about it though, very full beer

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter. It's a very dark rust red with 2 finger almond head. Slowly fades into a cap and leaves behind a good amount of spotty lacing. Great aroma of hops and caramel malt that blends in with a bit of earthiness. Plenty of pine and citrus. Flavor is bitter hop notes with some grapefruit rind and pine sap. Good malt presence with sweet caramel that has a bitter finish. Nice medium body with full carbonation that has a slightly bitter, dry finish. This is certainly Ambergeddon ramped up with even more hops and malt.

12oz bottle. Served in a willi becher glass. Pours a darker amber copper coloured body, one and half finger frothy white head, good retention, good lacing. Smell is distinct toasted barley, a bit of caramel and toffee, light citrus and floral notes. It honestly smells like fresh wort, which is kinda weird. Flavour is essentially hopped up wort; it has a nice hefty floral bitterness to it, which helps balance things out, but it is essentially tasting like wort. Not a terrible thing, but it's not as developed as any beer should be. Kind of a weird beer to drink. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, good carbonation, moderately bitter, with a lingering wet barley finish.
