Poured 22oz bottle into small tulip. Pours a deep, dark brown color; 1.5 finger dirty white head. Head fades slowly into a thin collar and leaves behind webs of lacing on my glass. Aroma is Belgian candy sugar, toffee, caramel, vanilla and bourbon with some spiced dark fruits. Flavor starts off with the sweet toffee and vanilla then adds in some banana bread, chocolate notes and cherry skin. Bourbon notes, Belgian yeast with mild dark fruits, caramel and brown sugar. Big carbonation with a nice medium body. A very slight tart fruit lingers on my tongue. This turned out well and the bourbon added some complexity to the solid base Dubbel.
