Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours deep hazy orange with a small white head. Smells of citrus and tropical hops. Tastes of sweet grain with fruitiness, including citrus and tropical. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a perfect.
Pours a hazy deep straw. Two fingered rocky head recedes to lacing. Looks like unfiltered cider.
Aroma is hop upfront. Pineapple vinous hops with a smallish malt backing. Hops is dominant in the nose. Pretty nice.
Flavor is tropical hops in the front. Hops are sweet but yeild to bitterness. Middle brings a bit of malt backing but it's hard to pull out. Finishes sweet with tropical fruit hop flavors.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp, easy to quaff.
Not a bad lot abv beer. There's a lot of hop going on here, but it's just not balanced.

Overall it is nice for a session beer. Not fruity enough for a New England style but it does have hop presence. Mouthfeel is a bit over carbonated for me.

Goose Island Nonic Pint
Hazy slightly murky body under a creamy 1 finger head leaving lots of lace behind.
Aroma of orange juice, banana, blueberry, mango, and muffin.
Flavor starts out herbal and slightly dank... then fades quickly to club soda and saltine cracker. There's a fruity tone underneath it all, much like how Fruity Stripes fades right away and all you've got left is a ghost of what it was. Except there's no huge fruit coming in at all. It's just phantom fruit. Sessionability should be in ABV, not in flavor. Very watery.
Feel is crisp and creamy but falls like cement in the belly and compacts itself heavily. Really nice resinous acids remaining on the palate though.
Overall, this one was a bit of a downer. Definitely watery. I'd pass.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date. Fluffy off-white head caps a hazy greyish-yellow ale. Aroma is juicy and tropical hinting at stone fruit, passion fruit, pineapple. Light and refreshing flavors of pineapple, passion fruit, lemon-lime, kiwi, and stone fruit with a nutty & biscuity grain presence in the background. Medium creamy body, nice carbonation, bitterness is modest. Although I give this credit for being unique, it isn't something I'd recommend.

12oz can, snifter glass. Cloudy golden yellow body, one finger white head, frothy lacing, fair retention. Smell is pineapple, tropical fruit, a bit of grapefruit, light sugary caramel and lemon zest. Flavour follows; a nice balance of tropical fruit and malt, light grapefruit and a bit of zest on the finish, not particularly bitter. Good. Slight mineral, finish is a light combination of baked grain and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is lighter medium bodied, good carbonation, easy to drink. A good session IPA, solid hop presence, light bitterness, easy drinkability.
