I would have liked it to be a bit thicker, and aromatic. Does not hold a long head, it pours dark and dissapates in 20 seconds to a white ring around the edge.
A little bitter, but not astringent.
I taste subtle dark cherry and dark chocolate.
Not disappointed with this beer.

Picked up the last 22oz bottle at City View liquor in Madison, WI. This is a great beer, one of the better bourbon barrel aged beers that I’ve had
