Ghosted Hazy IPA features the explosively fruity, juicy combination of El Dorado hops and the already extinct Experimental Hop #06300. This limited IPA can never be made again, hence the name ‘Ghosted’.

Appearance - oddly dark for an NEIPA... package date 9/3/19... not sure if perhaps the newer batch is darker or what but I’ve seen lighter pours of this brew and so I’m not sure what to think. Dark amber astringent look.
Nose - floral and bright. Not bursting with anything that gives the smell that standout character... not unpleasant. No hop sting.
Taste - not super “thick” like what I feel I get from similar brews in the style. Smooth overall. I get notes that remind me of pineapple, overripe green apple, honeydew and cantaloupe type flavors.
Feel - seems slightly more astringent and thin than one would expect. Not really pillowy... if it does come off as pillowy I think it’s kind of a trick of the effervescent carbonation. Smooth, crisp, bright. Lacking that something though.
Overall I’m giving Ghosted by Ale Asylum 3.5 out of 5 because I feel like this beer could’ve been REALLY good. It just needs something.
I’d still recommend trying it though. Comes in 6 packs and is at a very accessible price point.

Bought this in a can from the local liquor store. It had a really odd flavor to it that’s hard do describe. Probably need to try it again at the brewery
