Lemmy wrote "(We Are) The Road Crew" as a loud and proud tribute to Motorhead's crew and, by proxy, all crew everywhere. Having roadied himself for Jimi Hendrix, Lemmy knew all about the sterling service these touring warriors provide their families, and yes, he wrote it in 10 minutes on the loo because, "It was the only quiet place in the building..."
'I just love the life I lead,
Another beer is what I need,
Another gig, my ears bleed,
We are the road crew.'
Road Crew is an American Pale Ale packed full of hoppy citrus aromas delivering a crisp, refreshing, superior taste to celebrate the spirit of the song and those who inspired it. Road Crew also contains copious amounts of WOOOAAARGGGHHH!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid brew pours nicely
into a snifter with a deep brandished orange color and a nice head
of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and
sports some nice lacing. Nose of citrus notes of grapefruit, mango,
and pine with rich caramel notes. Flavors follow with caramel, light
mango, moderate grapefruit, and spicy as well as pine laced hops
with light breaded malt notes. Nice mouth feel; medium body, medium light
carbonation, and a bitter hop and light sweet finish.
Overall, a solid pale!
Cheers

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has some hints of amber hues along with a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high off white head that has good retention properties and never completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy hops and fruity yeast are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has stronger flavors of citrusy hops - tangerine seems to stand out in particular. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No crispness is perceptible.
O: This pale ale is very fruity and not very hoppy/bitter but is easy to drink.
Serving type: can

Picked this up a few weeks back at ShopRite Liquors in Little Falls as I'd never seen this before or anything from Ale Asylum, for that matter. Wanted to like this beer but for some reason, this felt thin, tangy, and a bit artificial to me. Sure, I had no problem finishing this off but American Pale Ales should be hoppy, balanced, and enjoyable and this wasn't quite up to par in my book...
The pour to this was decent as the liquid was a dark apricot with a decent amount of head topping it off. Only a few specks of bubbles were left behind as it was nearly impossible to find the lacing left behind on the side of my pint glass. Lots of tangy citrus, lemon pledge, and tea spice in the nose as the taste was just as acrid, syrupy, and overly sharp. Hard to find any detectable malt here as this was slick, lightly carbonated, and something I had to take my time to finish off. Only a bit of stickiness left on my lips served as a reminder that this was an American Pale Ale as it bordered on a Fruit and Field beer.
Couldn't detect any alcohol here but when you're puckering up as much as I did, that wasn't even a concern. Sure, I could have had another in my session but one was more than enough as I had to have a chaser of water after finishing this off. The date on the bottom was 8/23, with "MOTOR" written above it, as this had to be an expiration date since I left home for the summer before then. No sediment was visible in the liquid but I wish I could have gotten this fresher, as I have a hard time believing that this was what the final product was intended to taste like. Worth a go for me just so I could add the label to my collection...

16oz can dated March 11, 2021 poured into a 16oz pint glass.
L: Pours a solid copper tone deep top light bottom, well carbonated, firm 3/4" white head which stays firm but lowers, some random lacing.
S: Nose is citrus, grapefruit, orange, mango and light caramel.
T: Taste is quickly hop forward then fruits, peach, mango and tea. All inside of a very stable malt bubble. It is not dry and is lightly sweet.
F: It has a crisp mouth feel that is soft toward the med-fast finish. The hops paddle around in the malt but make no waves. A well balanced medium bodied American Pale Ale that is extremely drinkable. Very nice.

Light copper with some chill haze, nice white head, nice retention and lace
Earthy, floral and citrus hops over a biscuity malt aroma
Tastes like it smells, but not as good. A little bit of black tea in there as well
Medium light bodied with appropriate carbonation, clean
Bought it because I'm a big Motorhead fan. Wouldn't buy again, but washing the can out well to put next to my "Heart Full of Napalm" can.
