I hope Ale Asylum starts to give these beers names, because if they don't there I suspect there is going to be a lot of different beers reviewed under the same name...
A: Darker shade of copper, almost brown. Still translucent. Forms a very small white head, really not much more than a surface coating with a thin ring. Very light lacing.
S: Fairly aromatic. Mostly pine and citrus, but there is also a light sweet floral quality.
T: Taste starts off with a moderate sweetness: a moderate amount of sweet caramel malt. Then there are the hops. Sweeter citrus hops: mostly grapefruit, but it is restrained . A touch of pine, but not too much. Finish is a bit alcoholic with a slight fusel spice.
M: Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Moderate sweetness. Mild bitterness.
O: A very drinkable IPA. Nice blend of flavors. Easily approachable. Can't say that it is outstanding, but it certainly was enjoyed.
