Comes in a black can with silver lettering and no other design. The name is in English (well, latin alphabet, anyway), with the slogan in Russian: don't deny yourself the pleasure of resting well. Sage advice. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 5/11/04, I opened it on 3/7/04.
Pours an unimpressive clear pale gold under a one finger white head with a bit of retention but no lace. The nose is fruity sweet - raspberry? The mouth is heavily carbonated, and heavy with a fruity sweet/sour feel. There's lots of malt and a touch of sugary sweetness in the taste. Very little hops emerge - just a slight tickle in the jowls as the liquid disappears. The aftertaste is more sweet than bitter, but utterly subdued. This beer is great by no means.
