Served in a small (8-10 oz?) goblet, Sasquatch is a dark, blackish brown with a small khaki collar and light skim that leaves light but very pretty lace.

Smell is strange - from the first wiff I thought fresh popped pop-corn!?!? Behind which lay some chocolate malt...perhaps if it was served a bit less cold or I had more time it would open up...certainly not average!

Taste is better (the nose wasn't bad but weird), more of the rich chocolate and coffee I'm looking for in the style, the alcohol is noticeable for the relatively smaller size (at least by NW standards). There's a little bit of milkiness, and not much roast or bitterness, overall, it's pretty damn tasty.

Mouthfeel is nice, smooth, soft creamy carbonation, viscous but not to heavy.

Drinkability is pretty good, I like an RIS that's not such a chore to finish, and the flavor suits my taste. Still, the nose was weird, and the alcohol taste seemed aggressive. But for a fresh RIS, this is great.

This beer has some serious balls!!!Poured a a jet black color, tan head,
The aroma was great. Roasted malts, choco, cofee perhaps. Now to the taste..much like the nose..cocoa, coffee, and down right vicious. It will put hair on your chest!! This is an excellent RIS.

This beer pours a short dark brown head sitting above the dark brown almost black brew. Head sticks around although there isn't much of it. Aroma starts out as dark malty grains, but then turns into fruits, rasin and plum with a hint of alcohol. Taste is dark malty grains with a hint of rasin. You can feel the alcohol warming your mouth. Mouthfeel is nice and thick. Drinkablility is average for the style, I am not sure of the alcohol content but drinkablility might be higher if the abv is higher.
