Had this at their brewpub, named after the brewer's dog IIRC.
On draught in a shaker pint, Jumpin' Jimi Jack Ryeis a hazy copper with only an off-white surface skim of head, leaving very light, scattered lace.
Smell is minty, English style noble hops, with some buttery diacetyl.
Taste is heavy on the diacetyl, butterscotch and a bit of toffee, semi-sweet with just a bit of rye spiciness and bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is spicy, dried, with medium carbonation and body.
Drinkabiltiy is ok, this was an average, generic rye beer. Similar malty taste as the other two beers I had here today makes it rather boring.
