Cowlitz delivers no scent beyond vague bread dough, and casual bittering is its only appreciable taste property. It is perhaps a more dynamic choice than many blondes, but doesn't aspire to much by way of flavor. Its strongest merits are its goldenrod color, resilient suds, and a plush texture that rolls easy across the tongue.
