Poured a deep ruddish red, almost brown with a small tannish head. Nose is dry, malts, rye and spice.Taste is malty, some spice, malts and rye bit not overly tasty to me. maybe I was looking for somethingn different.Mouthfeel is a bit dry, boozy, syrupy. Worth a try of you dig the rye beer.

Dark, dull ruddy brown, still with barely a wisp of a white collar.
Smell is sweeter, some spice and piny hops.
Taste is nice, malty and bitter sweet, with the rye spice coming through on the finish. Fairly hoppy as well, although the focus is on the malt, achieving a tasty balance.
Mouthfeel is on the thick, syrupy side, and is hurt by the lack of carbonation.
Drinkability is pretty good, a hefty rye ale in the NW flair. Smooth, but could use more carbonation to lighten the viscosity.
