A: Poured a jet black with huge carbonation and rich brown head, much carbonation
S: Milk, booze, roasted malts and cocoa
T: It looked so good I did not want to drink it but damn it, i did. Immediate milk sweetness, creme and booze sting with roasted malts, tad cocoa and even hints of an oat
M: Rich, nice feel and a booze sting
D: Very good representation in my book.

On draught at the brewpub, Woodrow's Imperial Milk Stout is black with a very dark head, almost brown, tight and creamy, leaving light, foamy lace.
Smell has a nice sweetness from the lactose, as well as some roasted grains. It's pretty robust, but not overwhelming.
Taste is nice, this one has a really nice balance between the milk sugars and the roasted grains and spicy alcohol. I'm not a fan of milk stouts, but this imperial version (7.8%) is really working nicely for me. There's some depth to the malt as well, some caramel, bit of leafy hops.
Mouthfeel is soft and smooth. There's some dryness, with a medium light body.
Drinkability is dangerously high. This is a delicious brew. One of the best new beers I've had from Harmon in a long time. It's sweet and rich, so I won't be guzzling it, but on the other hand, I'm tempted to do so!
