A: Poured a deep rich dark brown, nearly black with good carbonation leaving a dirty white cap, bubbles and some lacing
S: Light oak, more roasted malt, cocoa forward
T: Roasted malt up front, cocoa, hints of coffee. The oak is distinguished midway and very pronounced on the end. The oak provides a nice subtle vanilla but big dry, wood on the end, almost bittering due to the wood
M: Big body, very tasty, just right on carbonation
O: I have always said Harmon makes great porters,stouts and big beers; this beer is no exception
