This is a weird one. It pours almost like an amber instead of an IPA. The aroma is that of a pumpkin beer at first sniff and swirl. I cheated a little and looked it up and it was aged with certain floral elements such as rose, lavender, and chamomile. That is what really comes through in the aroma and taste. Don't get me wrong when I said it was weird, it's not horrible, but it's also not a traditional IPA with little hints of florals in it. Very prominent. Had the bitterness on the back end as you drink it down. Doesn't linger with it though as the floral notes hang around. Pleasant and unique, definitely not a traditional IPA or hop bomber's idea of a good brew but I find that strangeness to be inviting and expanding, like Andy Warhol for whom inspired the beer (local legend).

A: Poured a deep cloudy orangish color with moderate carbonation leaving a small white cap, light bubbles and lacing
S: Plenty of chamomille, perhaps some rose hips and citrus notes
T: Initial taste was chamomille and flower notes upfront which transitions into a rather heavy citrus/floral mix and a long but moderate bittering mid taste to finish
M: Medium bodied, definitely big for a single IPA, lots of flowers on the palate, a little heavy, lower carbonation
O: Not to shabby
