A: This beer pours hazy dark amber whit a off-white large (at first), but a bit uneven head that dissipates after a while leaving some lacings. Some sediments are left in the bottle.

S: At first it's all hops - floral and sour - really nice. But there are also fruity notes, both banana and citrus. Some alcohol as well.

T: It's almost only hops of different tastes: At first there is sour and floral hops (the latter is very American), but after a little while it turns more bitter.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation. The aftertaste is dry and bitter and stays for a while.

D: This isn't bad at all. If you're into the american hops you probably will like this one.

This is my first beer from Ölands. "Peculiar" is the word for this one, I would say!

Amber color with a medium white head.

Smell is surprising; banana, some spices - I almost thought this was a weissbier here.

The taste is good and special. It feels like a mix of weissbier and an APA. Starts with banana and wheat-like notes followed by a spicey, almost parfume-like american hop flavour and a decent bitterness.

Mouthfeel is good, but not that special. Pretty smooth.

Peculiar, but interesting and good.

I had this one at Bishop's Arms in Karlstad, quite a strange beer I think, but not in a bad way.

The color is amber with a medium size white/beige head.

Smells good, some sour hops in the smell, maybe sounds pretty bad, but it isn't. Think of a good weissbier mixed with a APA or something like that.

The taste is a bit sour too, with some green bananas going on. I think it's pretty funny though, cause on the label of the bottle they say "Brewed in a experimental spirit" or something like that.

Exciting, but not one of the best beers from the Swedish micro breweries.

The liquid is a bit hazy; the colour is dark amber. The uneven two finger head is off-white.

The smell is milder than I had expected. Some sour hops and hints of alcohol.

The taste starts off with hints of wax and anonymous hops. Metallic bitter notes with some chemical flavours. Still, it is a quite balanced beer. The aftertaste is bitter/tart with a long lasting dry hoppy(fruity flavour.

The carbonation is mild, the liquid smooth.

Not a bad beer, but I had hoped for even more bitter flavours. I came to think of it as an American ESB.
