same story as the helles, it's new to my area and i'm very glad to have this available where i live. this is also advertised as being 100% organic.
clear and dark caramel brown apearance with a weizen-like carbonation that keeps this tan head alive for the duration. not a lot to smell. unfortunately i've been quaffing some doppelbocks lately so this is pretty weak in comparison. but thankfully, like it's paler brother, it has a nice lager aroma minus the macro scents i've grown accustomed to.
taste is just so solid and sure. well put-together. FRESH. bottled a week ago according to the label. also like the helles, it's not a mind-blowing or memorable flavor, just nice and refreshing. it's so nice to find a craft lager here, and a non-pilsener beer is also rare. i'll take this over any other J-lager. it gets extra points for being a a good japanese micro lager.
