Appearance is a hazy golden with a thin head. Smell of citrus and the floral hops dominate. Taste is a bit thin on the malt with a good amount of hop and grapefruit bitter. Mouthfeel on the whole seems a bit thin which I quess makes for a niclely hopped easy drinker, but I tend to like a little more body in my IPAs.

Port Townsend's taps seem to run on low pressure, and most of their IPAs (they have three or four now) pour with little to no head. I received my pint from the barmistress Roxanne full to the brim with just a little eggshell scum across the top; The pint was a hazy amber, with a little carbonation of note.
The smell is certainly hoppy - of PTB's beers, this is probably the closest to a double IPA, but it's not - the abv is low, and it just doesn't pack a DIPA wallop. Very floral and grapefruity hops dominate the nose.
Gritty, floral, citrusy hops are also dominant in the taste - they push the malts all the way to the back, making them almost impossible to taste. (A back to back tasting between the Dry-Hopped and the Hop Diggity shows that this is far hoppier, despite the fact that Hop Diggity is dry-hopped as well - the Hop Diggity has a lot more buttery caramel malt)
Mouthfeel is oily but smooth, with some carbonation present. Unobtrusive, easy to drink.
A nicely sessionable IPA (Hop Diggity might be a bit moreso). I backed this up with two pints of Porter and rather enjoyed my stay in the tasting room.
