Like Boatyard Bitter, the yeast strain features prominently and has similar characteristics. Yeast esters define the aroma and flavor, submerging the malt profile and contributing to a drab, lingering aftertaste. Also like Boatyard, it is low in CO2 and produces no head or lace.
PTs Pale is acorn colored with minimal hop emphasis. A traditional ale in contrast to more spry contemporary offerings.
Listed as 4.8% ABV on the house menu.

This is a solid pale with a decent amount of hops and that clean and crisp finish which denotes a american pale ale. The drinkabilty was top notch as the balance pulled it together and makes you want another. These guys know how to make a well built beer that also contains some complexity.
