A special brew, the regular PT stout with an infusion of stumptown coffee and only available from The Undertown in Port Townsend.

Pours a great black with offwhite head, only a half a finger of perfect foam. Smells like coffee, blueberries, vanilla, a hint of roasty bitterness and a underlying sweetness. Tatse follows suit with a crisp coffee bitter finish, leaving the palate delighted.

there have been 4 batches to date, up to #3 pretty much mediocre and sad. Batch 4, the current(early spring 2011) is damned good, a brew I could enjoy pint after pint while dancing to some bluegrass in the back room.

Enjoy my children, for the time is limited and the beer cool.
